 Documentaries
 What are documentaries?
Documentaries are a nonfictional motion picture intended to document some aspect of reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction, education, or maintaining a historical record.Such films were originally shot on film stock(the only medium available)but now include video and digital productions that can be either direct-to-video, made into a TV show, or released for screening in cinemas. "Documentary" has been described as a "filmmaking practice, a cinematic tradition, and mode of audience reception" that is continually evolving and is without clear boundaries.Documentaries are often used to reveal an unusual, interesting or unknown angle. Topics are limited only by one's imagination as you can see by this huge list of documentary ideas submitted by visitors to this site.

How is it different from films?
Films are based on any true incidents or a fictional written story by someone and is acted out by hired actors and actresses. However, professional actors make films look real so that the public would be more into the film and make it look believable.A good film would require a great storyline,sound/video effects and plots.

Documentaries are more into non-fictional and real life stories. The person who does the documentary would tell us each detail of a specific incident or story. Most documentaries captures current stories and incidents except for historical stories where the real people are already dead.Sometimes they would hire actors to re enact it just so that they could explain even better.Or sometimes, they would even animate it.
