Dream Team Challenge Blog #1 Week 4

On the 28th of July 2018, a huge number of MMU Students were gathered in the Grand Hall to participate an event called the Dream Team Challenge. The purpose of this challenge is, each group must create/develop either a mobile application, web application or an IoT (Internet of Things). The purpose of the app is to target those who do not like to learn or know about Science,Technology,Engineering and Mathematics or STEM. It is expected that all of the groups must present in 5 weeks. There were 5 Faculties in total. Faculties such as, Faculty of Creative Multimedia, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Applied Communication, Faculty of Management and Faculty of Computing and Informatics. The registration started around 7:30am until 9am. We were all provided with breakfast before the event began. As the event began, students were required to sit in groups and in each group, must contain 2 FCM students, 1 from FOE, 1 from FCI, 1 from FOM and 1 from FAC. And with the time given of 1 hour and 30 minutes, we had to form a group and think of an idea for our app.Unfortunately we did not have a team member from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics. Which was sort of a downside to our group but its okay. We’ll manage it.
